1. Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies and equivalent technologies are essential to the site's operation and cannot be disabled. On ifreq.io, we currently only use: – local storage (localStorage) of your language choice (French or English), so we can show you the right version of the site on your next visit; – temporary local storage of answers in progress in the IFREQ Days application form, to avoid losing your progress if the tab closes accidentally. These drafts contain no sensitive data and stay on your device only until you submit your application. These technologies do not require your prior consent because they are strictly necessary for the site to function.
2. Audience measurement cookies
The ifreq.io website currently does not use any audience measurement or advertising cookies (no Google Analytics, no ad pixel). We plan to add audience measurement tools soon to better understand and improve how the site is used. When we do, a consent banner will let you accept or decline these cookies before they are set, and this page will be updated to list the specific cookies, their purpose and retention period.
3. How to manage cookies from your browser
You can configure your browser at any time to accept, decline or delete cookies, usually in its privacy or security settings. Disabling local storage of your language choice does not prevent you from browsing the site; it simply means your preferred language won't be remembered between visits.
